Air Fryer Turkey Chicken Bites (Printable)

Tender turkey or chicken bites glazed with honey and soy, air fried with a crisp, caramelized finish.

# What You'll Need:

→ Protein

01 - 1 lb boneless, skinless turkey breast or chicken breast, cut into ¾ inch cubes

→ Marinade & Sauce

02 - 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
03 - 1½ tbsp honey
04 - 1 tbsp olive oil
05 - 1 tsp garlic powder
06 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
07 - ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

→ Garnish

08 - 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
09 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives or green onions

# Directions:

01 - In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika until smooth.
02 - Add turkey or chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Let rest for at least 10 minutes or refrigerate up to 1 hour for enhanced flavor.
03 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
04 - Place marinated meat cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
05 - Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until meat is golden, caramelized, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
06 - Transfer the bites to a serving platter and drizzle with any remaining marinade. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped chives or green onions. Serve immediately.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It turns plain poultry into sticky, caramelized bites that vanish faster than you can refill the platter.
  • The air fryer does all the work while you fix drinks or finish other dishes.
  • The marinade uses pantry staples you probably already have, no special trip required.
02 -
  • If you skip the preheat, the bites steam instead of crisp and the honey never caramelizes right.
  • Crowding the basket traps moisture, leaving you with pale, soft meat instead of those crispy edges everyone loves.
  • Check the internal temperature with a quick thermometer, pulling them at 74°C (165°F) keeps them juicy instead of rubbery.
03 -
  • Marinate the meat in a sealed bag instead of a bowl, it uses less marinade and coats every piece evenly when you massage the bag.
  • Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for one minute before sprinkling, the nutty aroma makes the garnish taste intentional instead of decorative.
  • If the bites start to brown too fast, lower the temperature to 190°C (375°F) and add a minute or two to the cooking time.
